Man Is Sick - Press Release
Man Is Sick is the new single from Warrington's Exile Parade that will be released on April 26 by Suburban Records.
The track has become a firm live favourite and lead track from the EP 'Brothel Ballet' will be available to buy on CD and digital download via iTunes.
Recorded straight to tape without a computer in sight to capture a raw and warm sound that only analogue recording can deliver. Lyrics inspired by a story told to the band by one of Manchester's leading journalists 'Mick Middles', about an old Manchester cinema that sold baby crocodiles alongside weird and wonderful erotic things back in the 70's; the cinema is now a venue called Moho Live where Exile Parade recently supported The Enemy for a gig organised by XFM's Clint Boon.
Jim Gellatly (Formerly BBC / XFM Scotland) commented on his show after watching a live show in Glasgow..."they reminded me of a totally punked-up Rolling Stones". High praise indeed and to make up your own mind they will be playing live in March / April / May the UK including This Feeling at The Garage, London (April 23) and Alan McGees Clubnight 'Greasy Lips' at The Ruby Lounge, Manchester (May 8)
Exile Parade are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album that will include tracks produced by Owen Morris (Oasis/The Verve/The View) and will be released later in the year.
To arrange interviews, live sessions or guestlist contact Ron Hell at Suburban Records - hell@suburban.nl or the band direct at exileparade@gmail.com.
